Some jobs come with business cards. Mine came with a vision board, a Google Doc of dreams, and a gut feeling I refused to ignore.

Executive Assistant Diaries: From Boardrooms to Beach Clubs
Executive Assistant Diaries: From Boardrooms to Beach Clubs

I’m Paris, Executive Assistant at MESHKI - and four years ago, I was waitressing tables, working at a law firm, and secretly manifesting my way into this exact life. MESHKI wasn’t just a brand I admired - it was the place I knew I had to be. So I did what any delulu-but-determined girl would do: I pursued it with everything I had.

I didn’t have the perfect résumé. What I did have was drive, intuition, and a deep belief that I could bring something to the table. Fast forward four years, and here I am… juggling calendars, international flights, and the occasional “wait, is this real life?!” moment.
Last month was one for the books. I supported our Co-CEOs and Co-Founders, Shadi and Natalie, at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year awards in Monaco, and then rolled straight into our MESHKI event in St Tropez. The outfits were immaculate, the backdrop was unreal - and behind it all was the wild, wonderful chaos of pulling it off.
So here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at the life of an EA during our most glamorous, jam-packed season yet - no filters, no fluff, just the real stuff. The heart, the hustle, and a whole lot of Wi-Fi hotspots.
Monaco: EY World Entrepreneur of the Year
The Monaco trip was a huge milestone for MESHKI. Shadi and Natalie were selected as finalists for EY’s World Entrepreneur of the Year, and I had the absolute privilege of travelling with them to support them during the week-long event. From a work perspective, my days were packed with coordinating schedules, helping prep Shadi and Natalie for media and interviews, managing comms across time zones, and making sure every tiny detail ran smoothly.

There were definitely moments where I had to pause and soak it all in: staying at the hotel that sits directly in front of the iconic F1 hairpin turn (iykyk), walking into the Salle des Etoiles for the gala dinner, meeting entrepreneurs and leaders from all over the world, and seeing the scale of the event firsthand.

But, in between the whirlwind of events, I carved out a few quiet pockets just for me - sipping espressos on the balcony, soaking up the stillness, and finally starting The Alchemist, a book I’d been meaning to read for years. It felt poetic almost, to be reading about destiny and dreams while living a version of mine.

St Tropez: MESHKI On Location
Our “St Tropez Takeover” marked MESHKI’s first event in Europe - and let’s just say, we made an entrance. The guest list was filled with incredible influencers, tastemakers, and big-name creatives, all coming together to celebrate the brand in one of the most iconic destinations in the world.

There were also some serious pinch-me moments. At 9am, I was dressed and diving into the pool to help capture the shot for our Instagram - no questions asked. I also got to meet Yasmin Devonport (one of my all-time favourite influencers) and had to channel every ounce of professionalism while internally screaming. It was such a cool full-circle moment - not just because I admire her, but because I realised I was in that room for a reason. These opportunities, these conversations, this access - they only happen because I’ve worked hard to prove my value, to back myself, and to show I belong here.
To be in that space, with that team, doing work I love for a brand I adore? Surreal doesn’t even begin to cover it.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t need the perfect background, the perfect résumé, or the perfect timing. You just need vision, drive, and a little bit of delulu energy to back yourself completely.
Four years ago, I was daydreaming about working at MESHKI. Now I’m diving into pools in St Tropez for content and supporting our Co-Founders on the world stage. None of it happened overnight - but every late night, every challenge, every “I have no idea how I’m going to pull this off” moment led me here.
So if you’re reading this and wondering if it’s possible - trust me, it is. Keep going. Show up. Say yes. Be bold. The life you’re dreaming of might be closer than you think.
